Branch, IN Last Updated: 3/24/2012Sunlight anomaly as a sun pillar!64885Ft. Branch, INIn January of 2006 I was leaving the West edge of Ft. Branch on SR 168. The western horizon had a sight to behold. The bright sun coming up in the East behind me was somehow being reflected downwards through dark cottony rain clouds.<br><br>The sight at 7:30 AM was a very wide dark orange sun pillar that came straight down on the short hills three miles away! If you have seen the same thing please chime on in typing a note through the dust cloud that I just stirred up posting this odd sunlight phenomenon.<br><br>MK Cody<br>...
