I have investigated this story.
I talked to a gentleman whose family owns the property and has lived on or near this property his whole life. He is in his mid-fifties. I have been exactly where the pond is for a cook-out.
He stated that he has never heard of the story of the drunk airmen, the crash, or the suicides.
BTW...there is no barn on the entrance to the road. There might or might not have been in the past, but there is none now.
