Location Description:

formerly Eastern State School and Hospital Rumored to be haunted due to unfair treatment and killing of patients. If you go into patients rooms the doors will slam shut and trap you in. When you walk down the halls you can sometimes see a figure fallowing you of a man. Mysterious 4th floor said to be life threatening and extremely haunted. If you go into the morgue its very cold and feels like theres a fan on you with no windows in site.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	The building was not built in its place, the building's foundation and main structure is the original as well. I also worked in the Original Eastern State School while it was in operation as a school. It had a morgue, and yes, the 4th floor was classrooms, I wired the whole 4th floor with cat.5 wire. There was also Barbwire fences, round rooms, and a ton of asbestos. I never saw or experienced anything strange, I wasn't there long enough and it was always during the day. I watched them build the building from the old structure and I saw the morgue, and worked in the classrooms. I have lived 1/4 mile away for 22 years.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	i was a resident at the original site when it was eastern state school and hospital i was there for two years when it was a psyiciatric hospital and no it was not haunted there was no morgue there and the classrooms when i was there were in another building on the grounds and not on the fourth floor. they had units 1-2 -6-7-8 which were your locked units and in the rear of these locked units were the seclusion rooms. the cottages were more open settings like keith cottage,fallsington cottage, and croydon cottage and ect. no strange and paranormal stuff happened there no killings of patients happened there no ghosts. if this is all people have to do all day is make up hauntings at abandoned buildings i think that they actually need psyiciatric help. they say the same thing about philadelphia state hospital (byberry) and pennhurst ...at eastern state school and hospital its not true we would have seen it if it was true

AnonymousVisiter PENNSYLVANIA US	well if your a ghost and your real then you should know that they have pysiatric medications for that plain and simple. i can see those that lots of people dont have a real life. they sit around online and make up ...eeeewwww ghostly hauntings all day and dont really know anything about the establishment they are referring too let alone know where it is at. please stick to things that you know. like i said i was there and there was not hauntings. people see an empty building and in their shallow mind it's haunted. wow and just think your out here and i was in there? wow if all of the insane people are out here then we should not have been in there. we dont go around seeing apparitians.
