Location Description:

The Belle Isle Station was demolished in 1999 to but in a shopping center there. But strange occurrences have begun there. The machinery has been acting up and moving by themselves, such as a crane, and power failures have happened. Sometimes at night you can see things in the form of a floating mist moving about. One day as I was going to Penn Square Mall, which is next to the shopping center, I felt a rush of cold air go right past me, but it was in the middle of August which would be about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Even some of the construction workers complained about come things thinking its kids going there at night.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	I have lived about a mile and a half from there for decades. Although it is true some people have died there as a result of going inside the unsafe structure, and there was a murder at the park many many years ago when Belle Isle park and lake were there, I have not seen any strange things there. Although, when the power plant was there my girlfriend and I use to go there late at night and it was rather spooky with the shadows dancing from the gas flame to the east and the cemetary just to the north. She always said there were satan worshipers that would hang out there. But,I never saw anything there,that could not be explained away.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	I have not visited that place for many years! Even though a modern power station was put in. Many weird and unusual things have occured! I was in the tower, a day before the last death. I saw many things that I can't explain. Not the bums or cults that lived there, but stufffff that will haunt me forever! I know what I have seen, and I will never go anywhere near that sight. I belive! I was there when we had punk parties for the hell of it, and I am glad that it has been leveled!

AnonymousVisiter OKLAHOMA US	The girl that died at Belle Isle Station was named Tia Jones. I went to Hefner Middle School with her in 1993. I think she died in '94 or'95. They said she and the people that were with her ventured into a wall of some sort and she fell through a hole three floors to her death. I went to see her at Vondel L Smith mortuary on nw 130th and MacArthur, but they did not have open casket. It was a very tragic accident. She was a very nice girl.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	rumor has that satanists keep a alligator in the pond of water on the property and tried lure people close enough to the pond of water so the alligator could snatch them a drag them into the pond and eat them! they considered this a sacrifice to the devil of some sorts! AnonymousVisiter ** US	I went to school with Tia Jones in Edmond when we were in 4th and 5th grade. She moved and lost touch until I moved to OKC and started school at Hefner. I was put in a class with her and was shocked to see her...of course we were instant friends again. It was a tragic loss...she was a beautiful girl. I can't imagine a spirit so beautiful being one of the lost ones at Belle Isle.

AnonymousVisiter	i am the first cousin to to tia.she never did things she she wasnt suppost to.that night she went to the skating rink and was dropped off by her mother.she somehow ended up there and when ith happened all her supposidly friends ran off except one came back.it was a horrible.snapped both legs and swelling of the brain.what a sad ending to a beautiful life.wonder what she was doing there in the first place.what a devestation to our family.I am so glad atleast she is still remebered by those out there.

AnonymousVisiter	My sister's best friend was Tia. I couldn't believe it. Tia was never the type of girl that would anything wrong. She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. My sister told me a story about Tia. She said that they were crossing the street at NW Expwy & Portland and Tia was hit by a car! Tia got up and walked away without a scratch. I know that she will never forget her. Her name is Charlotte.

AnonymousVisiter - -	Nothing weird happens there. A tragic accident happened in the mid-80's and the poor girl previously mentioned died. The tower was tore down years ago. There are no and never were any "satantic cults" or rituals performed on that site. There's rumors of "satantic cults" & "rituals" all over OKC and it's all hog wash. People there aren't the smartest when it comes to folklore. I know because I was born and raised there, but moved away for college and never went back.
