Never heard this before and I have a cousin who works in the kitchen at the inn. Will have to ask her about this!

During World War Two the Inn was used for Marines suffering from battle fatuge. Some took their own lives there. The see them in the parking lot and in the original old building. At least thats what I was told by a former employee at the Inn.
