Back in the 1800's Happy Valley was called Fraicheur. I've been doing research on it for a couple of years now, Not just about the creepiness of it but about the entire history. Although I have yet to find any information on why the town disapeared. I do know that it is possable that everyone just moved away because of the large distance between the bigger towns back then. I've only been there once at night and it was deffinatly spooky. Like the fact that we only drove about 45 minutes into the area but it took us almost 2 hours to get back to the main road and we didn't get lost. I also found a website (can't remember what one at this time) that said that the carpenter wasn't right in the head and could have been the one to kill those children and then sealed them into the foundation so they wouldn't be found. One day soon I hope to build a full blown website dedicated strickly to the history of Fraicheur (Happy Valley) and all it's happenings. Until then if you would like to pass on any information my e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org just make sure you put Happy Valley in the subject line so I will be able to find it.
