This is a true story, although Clint Eastwood's movie "Changling" does not go into a lot of it. The family that lives in it now has been in there for 20 years. They did not know what had taken place in their home as it has been too many years for house disclosures or original neighbors. The family did comment that "We now understand why things happen in the house," doorknobs turning like someone is trying to get in or out of the house, etc. So there is probably some paranormal activity going on there. The town used to be called "Wineville", but after "The Chicken Coop Murders" had taken place the town was too embarrased by the publicity and changed the name to Mira Loma. I was surprised to see that they still kept Wineville Road.
As for the last comment made on this site, if you are a paranormal investigator of course you would want to go and see if there is any evidence. You would pretty much go anywhere.
This is in reply to IP address 99.179.24.93. The house is now empty, but when I was there people were living in it with Christmas decorations up outside. Very nice people I might add.
Yes all information has to be disclosed to a new buyer. All info from history to deaths. A buyer can sue if this info is not disclosed.
Why can't any of you just use Google maps on the address and street view it like intelligent people would do?
The segment of street at the house is curiously omitted on Google Maps Street View.
There is nothing to investigate. The "chicken farm" buildings were torn down over 80 years ago. There are now just "little box" homes on the old site. What would be more interesting to investigate are the people and children who were alive at the time and can remember...anything? A post-script story (fully researched) would be wonderful.
Ive been to this house many times... friend used to live there until he moved away. You guys have the dates pretty accurate. I would say it was Somewhere in 2009 where his dad sold the house. Like I said Ive been there many times, and there is nothing supernatural about it. Its just another house you weirdos.
