Location Description:

This particular cemetery is found on the way out of Green Cove heading west on SR 16, towards Starke. as you leave the downtown area, and begin to descend down the hill, look upon the hill to your right. I have personally experienced moving shadows, rustling noises, visible orbs, cold spots, and the like. If you go in the day time, it is easier to read the older gravestones and markers, the oldest i can find are in the back, and often partially covered by brush and/or roots. A girl whom visited with me experienced a physical touch, like a tap on the shoulder while approaching the far corner from the entrance. this is by far the creepiest spot there. please feel free to post the name and precise location should you know where i am talking about

Cool little cemetery. I'll comment more on it later once I review the 2nd set of voice records from last night ; p I'll also post some 'ok' headstone pictures. That's it for this commenting. Back to sleep for me. Oh, also, need to update the map. was very tired when I listed it the first time. It's down Ferris and onto SR16 West like it says above, not east.

Ok, here is my opinion on this place.. It's nowhere close to haunted enough. After a second night, I have to say that this graveyard is overall at peace. After a second night of going out and checking up on it, the only place that anything seems to come from is over near the Knowell graves(in the middle of the far left side if you were to face the cemetery from the very front middle). Both nights were spent going out later in the evening around 10 or 11pm. First night I went I was with other people (total of 4 others, 1 of which was not planned on). Both nights though I got something from over near the Knowell graves. First night, 'we're here'. Second night, there is a voice, but it is speaking over my own a little and you just catch the last part of it right after I finish speaking, but enough to let you know that it is there. Aside from that, absolutely nothing else was gotten from this place really on either night except an odd sound of a turkey on both my audio recorder and the audio for the video camera. No one heard the turkey in person, but it came across pretty clearly into both devices as if it had been right there. So, is there a ghost turkey? ; p Also, just moments after that sound though, about 2 or 3 minutes later, something did fall from a tree in the middle of the place. I caught a glimpse of it out of the side of my eye (on the first night) and it seemed like a raccoon sized object in my opinion and it made a heavy thump to the ground. On the wierd side of things, nothing ran away and nothing at all was on the ground. I had seen the size of it roughly. Other folks were putting it off to tree branches and those odd shaped pinecones. Like I said, no tree branch was on the ground. Also, later the next night, I did test the pinecone theory by throwing it up into the air as high as possible and letting it come back down. They did make kind of a heavy thump, but still a little too trebly to match, and on top of that, like I said, I caught a glimpse of the falling object while it was falling and all I saw was grey. Racoon? Probably, but where did it go? ; p Now, on another note, on the second night there WAS a fallen branch in a different area completely of the cemetery, far of course from where the thump was heard and seen(atleast by me). All of the tombstones here are older, some good ones of folks born in the 1700's and such, and most of the folks died in the 1800s. It has a few above ground concrete stlye caskets, a few slightly cracked. Only other things I can note here are that there are tons of banana spiders all over this place (atleast during the summer). Also, try not to venture too off to the sides of all of the graves. There are dark woods (probably with big spiders) which appear to have a drop off, but I was unable to tell. Anyways, there is another place that we went too off of Hibernia road (visited that twice also). First night there was a recorded breath noise while calling a guy an oldy. I DID definitely record on the second night also, but for some reason when I checked tonight for that second recording, it was gone. I am more than100% sure the light for recording was on and that I did record the whole time. Anyway, because of that lost sound file, the breath noise was all we got from that place as well. There were absolutely no other things caught from either location. All in all, as said before, I have to say that this location is pretty darn clear of anything and also the one next to the church right at the end of Hibernia as well.

Oh wow... I'm so excited to find this article.

I went to this cemetery at about 1 or 2 in the morning 3 years ago. Immediately upon entering one of my friends stepped on one of the large cement, full length graves and all three of us heard a woman screaming from deep within the cemetery.  We fled.

I recently went there with my mom mid-afternoon and didn't feel anything except a serene, peaceful energy.

Unfortunately a few trees were knocked over from a storm and cracked open some of the full-size cement coffins and covered up a large area of the graves in the far back.

Some friends and I are going back next weekend around dusk and hopefully things go well.
