Location Description:
I lived in this duplex for most of my childhood and and teenage life. For a total of almost 12 or 13 years. I moved out when I was 17 years old. This duplex was 2 bedroom and my parents allowed my brother and I to share the master bedroom. My parents took the other room. In the smaller room my mom said one night that she saw the devil in the corner of the room. She described it as being a goat-like horned figure. When I got a little older, around 8 years old I got the smaller room, my parents moved into the master bedroom, my parents made my older brother a room in the garage. My experiences in that room were tremendous. One night I was laying in my bed with the hall light on because I have always been afraid of the dark. Suddenly there was a gigantic black figure standing in my doorway. It was huge and as tall as my ceiling. It was blacker than night. As the figure standed in my doorway the hall light shined around the figure like an eclipse. It was the most frightening image I have ever seen in my life and I will never forget it. I know this sounds crazy, but the figure came to the side of my bed and I saw one of his eyes, look me in the eye. His eye was comletely round and blacker than his body. The figure had a weapon, it was a sword and it looked like her was going to stab me and sacrifice me. I screamed for my mom and it disappeared. Throughout the years I would have terrible nightmares in that house. When I became a teenager I would be in my room with my headphones on because my stepfather wouldn`t like some of my music and a dark shadow would fly across my room. I would be scared, but would try to find a logical explanation for the occurance by recreating the shadow, but never succeded. My grandfather had a scale business in the bay area and we had a lot of antique scales in my house. One night I had a friend over and we were in the kitchen and kept hearing a noise coming from the hallway. We couldn`t figure out where it was coming from until we walked down the hallway into my room and passed by our antique Singer sewing machine with the antique scale on top tipping back and forth. Sometimes I would be in the dining room on my computer playing games kate at night and I would feel like someone was watching me and wanting me to leave the kithcen. So I would. When I was about 8 or 9 I would have to walk home from school, which was right across the street and be alone because both my parents worked. My mother use to want me to call her as soon as I got there to make sure I got home safely. One afternoon I called her and a voice cut into the phone line telling to go into the back bedroom. It was a man`s voice. It reminded me of Jim Morrison at the time. I kept kept asking them who they were. They said that I knew who they were and to go into the back bedroom. I was scared to death. I eventually hung up and called my mom back. She didn`t hear a word. Usually those types of things happen on cordless phones, but back then we didn`t own one. I guess I will never know what that was. When I was home alone after school I use to hear a lot of activity in the garage, as if someone was dragging boxes around. It was really frightening as a child. Also, in the kitchen there was always a human like shape on the wall by the lightswitch. It was almost like a light permanent shadow. For a long time I have wondered about all the happenings in this house and tried to explain to myself why they happened, but can never find the answers. If anyone else has been in this house or has lived there and experienced something please comment. Or if someone has answers to why these things have happened please comment also. These are not the only things that happened in my neighborhood. When I have more time I will add more hauntings that I have experienced.
