Location Description:

I was taken out one night to this old house with an old roommate and a male companion. The rd is behind a cemetary about 5 mins past Lynchburg on the right. Turn into the cemetary and then take a right onto an old gravel rd. The rd itself is scary b/c it has old trees that are curved over the rd and the branches leaning over the car when you drive down it. There is a new house on the left but keep driving...once you get a lil ways down the rd on the left sits an old two story maybe three story (if basement or attic is counted). The house itself looks scary on its own. The story is: the family that used to live there was murdered including the baby. The murderer: the father-husband of the family. He then hung himself out in the shed behind the house.

The male companion that we were with had been out there before with some of his friends. It`s fenced in so you have to cross the fence if you want to explore. Anyways, his tale was that when they went (he`s wasnt a believer until that night) they were all standing around making jokes about it being haunted until the upstairs light came on. They got curious and decided to see what the deal was...when he got upstairs he could still see the light on but when he stepped in the room it went out...and there was no light in there to turn on. He got cold chills and went outside. When they were walking back to their cars the old car that is parked there turned its ligths on and began honking...there was no one in it. They all tried to come up with a reason of why it happened but there wasnt one except for the obvious.

I`ve been out there a few times day/night. Even during the day I get a cold (not temp) feeling. One night I took a friend of mine out there on our own b/c he wanted to see it. We got there and I always have the vehicle pointed to the exit direction before I do anything. So, we parked but kept the car and he decided to get out...I didnt feel good about it so I sat in the car looking around. He got my camera out and began to take pics. When he got in the car I was laughing b/c he was saying that he got a weird feeling and didnt know how to react to it. All of a sudden he looked in the rear view mirror and there was a truck directly behind us...It honestly scared the **** out of us. Now this is a small narror winding rd but he did 80 mph until we hit the main highway. The truck did not follow. The only thing we couldnt figure out is if someone was going to sneak up on us and play with us we would have at least heard the truck coming down the gravel rd if not actually hearing the truck but we never heard a sound and it was quiet. Hmmmmm idk

kyle9560 Last Seen: 5/19/2008 3:20:27 PM	went back last night 1-4-08 the team made a huge discovery we found old jack daniels barrels we also found the shed the dad hung him self in...after u jump the fence and walk 2 the side door then if u keep walking back tords that lil bomb sheltter thing u will see tier tracks we keep walking and we shined the lihgt back there and we seen a red shed or barn thing and it was pad locked. we went back there and we sawl the barrels and all the metal rings that are in the house came from the barrels and some time i will post pics of the barrels and that shed and i think we got some pics of what we hink is the old family car but i will post some pics

kyle9560 Last Seen: 5/19/2008 3:20:27 PM	wow this house is creppy last night 1-12-08 we had the hole team out there there is a bomb shelter thing out there and 2 of the guys i was with we went in there and were doing evp`s around the house and inthe shelter but on the way to the shelter the recorder picked up a lil kid laughing and we did not here it and on the way in the shelter the recorder picked up what sounds like a woman screming and we did not hrere it till we reviewed it this morning

Our team went on 4-12-08 we caught some E.V.P.s a few authentic orbs(light emanates from within not reflects) a few team members had some strange occurences, such as Voices and knocking, multiple power cells were drained and some equipment failure only when at the site. I have found the records for the property which has a new owner as of 2007. The last owner was established in 1956 and has no name on the records I have found.I can't find anything on the supposed "murder". The child laughing account by kyle goes along with our findings, of a very mischevious childs spirit in the house. A mother's presence was sensed around the property of the home(directly around the house) and Male Evp.s were picked up on the outskirts of the property. So, something is definetly there, we will see what else is found if we are able to contact the owner and found out more info. They are restoring the family home and was very upset that they had been place on this web.site and will be prosecuted for entering the house and buildings and they have place two mean dogs on property. AnonymousVisiter M US	I live in a town that is about 10 to 15 minutes away from this house, and one of our high school sororities did part of there rush there. They had to be placed in a room somewhere in the house at night and they were given an almost dead cell phone to use as light, and they had to find a way out. I didn't participate in that part of it, but from what some of my friends told me it was pretty scary.

It is just an old house nobody died there , it has been in the same family since 1956 or whatever,,, people will believe anything.. Why didn't you just go on down to the cemetery in town and set and have a drink with Jack .. he has his own chair he climbs out of the ground every third thursday of the month and drinks a few shots of single barrel... so drive on out from California or where ever and meet Jack,, You know it has to be true , hell its posted on the internet!!!

AnonymousVisiter S US	I've been there numerous times, but i have never seen a ghost. I live not far from it. i have checked county records and there has only been three famlies that have ever lived there. The first was a man and woman that built the house. The second was a man and woman also that sold it to the current owners who do have children and all are still living. I know the last two owners, and none have seen a ghost. So if you could meet me there and show me a ghost, i would be Very Surprised. Seeing how no one has died there! So im ready when you are!!!

The owner contacted me through a article that was printed in the moore county news about our ghost hunting team called G.H.O.S.T. we meet her one night at this house to talk to her about everything that has happend there. That is how i found out about this site. There was 4 of us that night but i wish we would have brought the whole team to explore everything. AnonymousVisiter	i live on the same road of this house. nothing weird at all, might look a little weird though. me and my buddies grew up riding four wheelers up and down this raod at day and night, and i am sorry to admit to the owner that we have entered the house several times. it was really old and the upstairs was falling through, but they are remodling now. and i apologize to the owner for this it was a few years ago and i didnt know anyone was having anything to do with this house. but anyways, if anyone is looking for a place where some unexplainable things pop up in your pictures, take a left onto Duck Branch Road instead of taking Wabash. go down duck branch for a few miles and you will see a small cemetery onthe left. its actually a civil war cemetery, with graves strictly from the civil war. check it out
