Firefighters training in the fire room of the tower have had strange experiences. On one occasion two firefighters advancing a hoseline were thrown back. They described having the hose pulled backwards even though no other firefighters were around to move the hose (and it was not due to water pressure). Instructors advised that there have been many strange experiences in the fire room. Unknown if it is related to a firefighter who fell from the tower to his death in 1999.
