Location Description:

This military post was established in 1874 to protect the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes. Troops from the fort were instrumental in directing an orderly transition from reservations to individual farms, ranches and towns, and were the major force in supervising the Land Run of 1889. It served as two remount depots from 1908 to 1947, when it became an agricultural research station. It also served as a German prisoner of war camp in WWII. Much of the fort has been restored, and several activities are held on the site throughout the year. Over 25 historic structures are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and several exhibits and displays are also available for viewing.

Fort Reno began as a military camp in 1874. It was once used during the WWII for prisoners German and Italian POWs. Faces in windows, orbs and EMF activity. Lighs turn off and doors are found open. It was reported that in the Visitors Center the water faucet in the kitchen area had come on by itself. There are regular reports of some unseen presence heard walking around the upstairs areas.

I have no doubt the place is haunted,My fiance and I have been out there several times while a ghost tour was being conducted, the dissapointing fact is, don`t expect to see a real ghost, the establishment hires FAKE ones, thats right folks FAKE ones, besides it only takes common sense to know that with large groups of people, you probably aren`t gonna get or notice any paranormal activity, guess they thought they had to make up for it using FAKE ones...pathetic if you ask me...

I have conducted many paranormal investigations at Ft Reno. My team and I also were the first ones to investigate the location and help with the ghost tours for two years before anyone one else did. I can tell you there is activity there but greatly deminishes during public tours. Personally I have witnessed several full body apparitions in different locations during our investigations while in some of the old structures.

It is now impossible to conduct proper investigations there. I do miss the place to be honest. I capture many EVPs and some interesting photos. you can find them on my site at prosinvestigations.com
