A Bigfoot sighting occured at Lake Thunderbird State Park in 1995.

Also, freshwater Octopi have been seen in Lake Thunderbird. The Oklahoma Octopus is said to be a voracious predator, which is also believed to be violently territorial.

I live 2 miles from the Lake and have almost all of my life and ABSOULTLY NONE of this is true. Again it is all FAKE!!! everything for the octopus, to big foot and even the crybaby bridge. The crybaby bridge is said to be everywhere in oklahoma that has a bridge so don't ever believe that one

The worst thing about this lake is the strong undercurrents and murkiness of the water.
Even strong swimmers have drowned because the undertow has grabbed them & held them down too long.
