I had personal experiences on the mansion's grounds which is called Kearney Park back in the 80's. At first I thought "there is nothing out there." This was before I knew about the stories that the place was haunted.
I was maybe 25 years old at the time. A few friends and myself went to Kearney Park at night and we had dates. We all got out of our cars and a couple of people from our group had bad feelings, they said it felt creepy there. I had to use the restroom and started walking away from my friends. Then I heard some one say "Help me.", "Help me." But it didn't sound like some one who was in distress. I stopped when my buddy yelled at me saying who was out there with me. I looked back at my friend then quickly turned and looked in the opposite direction. This is when I saw what looked like what I thought was a man until he started walking on all fours toward me. The walk it had was weird. I froze, literally, and to this day I don't know how I unfroze. This is one of the most frightening things I had ever seen and one experience I had never felt before my entire life.
I never said anything to anyone about this. The people I was with that night never discussed it, ever. Until recently. I am now 42 years old and I live about 5 miles from Kearney Mansion
This is the absolute truth about kerney. The area is haunted, but not by a witch. it is haunted by Mr. Kerneys dead wife. Rumor has it she used to waunder around aimlessly and that he planted those trees so she will find her way back. Believe me this is no threat, just staf off of kerney road at night or you will regret it when you see her. it was the most terrifying experience of my life. X0
I live in kearney blvd and there is a little boy who is always walking around my house... does anyone know any history about the houses that were built by the palm tree road..?
