Any abandoned Hospital or Sanitarium is gonna be awesome regardless if it haunted or not.

Oh this place is haunted. Went there Prom night in 1985 and I am still scared. There are shadow people. There are aperitions. There are unaccountable screams. I can not believe it is reopened. I would rather think it has been torn down. What poor bastard would stick there parents in a haunted house?

Oh, baloney! I lived and worked on the grounds of this hospital for two years in the eighties. The hospital, like many TB sanitariums, had a farm where meat and milk were raised for the use of the patients. I lived and worked at the barn behind the power plant. The only creepy thing that I ever saw was the prank callers I get every so often. I worked horses all over the grounds, day and night. And it wasn't completely abandoned either. The apartments and houses that had been built for the use of the doctors and nurses were rented out right up until conversion began to the present retirement community.

I lived there in one of the apartments from 1959 - 1966. I don't remember a barn. I remember the power plant on the lower land by the small river. I used to wait for my school bus every day by the railroad tracks. I went to the McDonogh military school on a scholarship.

By the way, if anybody heard anything up there, it was probably either my Beagle, or the Baltimore SWAT team, which used the building to train.

I take patients there that have been discharged from local hospitals. I will admit something is not quite right there. It definitely gives me a creepy feeling. I dont like being on the grounds longer than I have to. I wont even wait around for a smoke we just unload and go

As a 7 year old, I lived on the grounds in the summer of 76 and felt nothing odd. Day or night I ran all over the grounds and apt. areas. Also visited on several Christmas breaks later. The only thing creepy was the building with NA / AA residents:)

Never went into the hospital though.

I worked in this hospital for a good many years on day and evening shift. There was nothing creepy about the place. They did some very good things there. Some of the patients were low life's and made it horrible for the employees and other patients. To some patients this place was home or they were living on the street with nothing but alcohol for their friend. This hospital also housed other patients.

So if the address: Mt Wilson Ln, Pikesville, MD 21208,  is right please let me know, or ill have to find another way there.

My great grandmothers brother was here in the early 70's. The place always creeped me out when we were there. not surprised at all that it is haunted. will have to go back and see it now compared to then.

The fact the fact that i am considered "sensitive" to such things...I currently work in the building, which is now a retirement community, and have felt nothing out of the ordinary. It is a beautiful place, peaceful and comforting. Any hunters seeking a thrill of spirits, you would be wasting your time. It is NOT haunted.
