As a 7 year old, I lived on the grounds in the summer of 76 and felt nothing odd. Day or night I ran all over the grounds and apt. areas. Also visited on several Christmas breaks later. The only thing creepy was the building with NA / AA residents:)
Never went into the hospital though.
Dang i wish this hospital was still around
Now called North Oakes Retirement Community. Mount Wilson State Hospital and Sanitarium closed in 1981. The buildings sat abandoned until 1990. Many high school students would visit the hospital. Secluded on about 200 acres in Baltimore County, Md. Thousands of Tuberculosis patients were treated here during the 50's, 60's, and 70's.v
The fact the fact that i am considered "sensitive" to such things...I currently work in the building, which is now a retirement community, and have felt nothing out of the ordinary. It is a beautiful place, peaceful and comforting. Any hunters seeking a thrill of spirits, you would be wasting your time. It is NOT haunted.
