OMG I SAW ONE AT CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY BFF BOYFRIEND IS GOING TO GO THERE
Hi,
Here is the real skinny on the Pook Rd. story. First of all pook Rd. is outside of the small town of South Whitley, Indiana. If you take S.R. 205 towards S. Whitley you will come to County Rd. 350 W. turn left on C.R. 350 W. Now an interesting point ,on the trip is a small bridge on C.R. 350 W. There was a gruesome murder which took place right at that very bridge, A man known as Victor Cooley was murdered there. If you look on the bridge there is a small plaque, it reads in memorial to Victor Cooley. Victor is rumored to walk the bridge to this very day.
A little bit further up the road you will cross a railroad track. That road is Pook Rd. Pook Rd. is indeed a very odd place. In the summer it is very low lying and very swampy. If you go, make sure to bring mosquito dope with you. There are all kinds of wildlife in the area. There have been Rail;road accidents there. A vehicle was struck by a train there, as well as a man who committed suicide by train there. This adds to the mystery of Pook Rd.
Now there is a report of a haunted railroad trestle, but that is actually located right on the outskirts of S. Whitley off of S.R. 205, You have to look to your left during daylight hours just to see the old trestle. many say that the newer tracks are the haunted ones, however this is not true. look to your left approx 500 ft. of of S.R. 205 to see the old abandoned trestle. It is hard to gain access by foot to investigate the trestle. You will have to cross over private property to get there.
Ask locals for details. Happy hunting, don't take anything home with you.
