Location Description:

Long time ago rumor is that the old bridge was a covered bridge. Supposedly a black man was hung from the ceiling. Another story is that a woman died on the bridge (not know how). Old bridge is not there but a newer one is built there. Story is that if you shine your lights under the bridge and flash your lights three times you can see the woman or the black man hanging. Also, from experience cars have died with the lights flashing inside and no explainable reason. Also there is a rock near by that has a story that is unknown what it is about, but they say if you sit on it you will die within seven years. It's a hard bridge to find, but if you ask around to the locals everyone knows about the bridge.

formula_thc Last Seen: 10/30/2010 6:54:02 PM	bein that i grew up in crawfordsville ive been here many of times lol and the story is that the black man hung on the old streel bridge was sleepin with the woman the husband found out and hang the black man where the two lovers first met, and bein the typical woman she come to try and stop her husband runnin down the creek with theyre dogs on his sent she comes across the bridge with her dead lover hanging from the rafters, she couldnt bear goin on in life with out him a week later she hangs her self in the same spot now on a full moon u used to beable to go there shut off ur car flash ur lights three times and honk once and the black man would drop from the rafters and you would hear the woman comin down the creek with the hounding dogs, and if u stuck around u would hear the dogs come up to the car and when u got home u would have mistyrious scratches all over ur car.

AnonymousVisiter * US	Im in south bend and that sounds like witch bridge. I heard that she was hung underneath it. She can be seen hanging when the moon is in its cresant. also Is the rock you are talking about on Primrose because I heard that story too about primrose. [ 12.65.144.167]
