I am from Anderson, Indiana and have always heard the stories about Cry Baby bridge. It's just an old town legend. Your supposed to go there at mid-night turn off your car and you will hear crying. Nothing has ever happend to me and I've been there many times since a very young age. There are 2 stories for this bridge. 1- a car crash killed a baby. 2- a woman didn't want her baby and threw it over the side of the bridge. Also on the same road is Hays Cemetary, better known as Main Street or Main Street Graveyard. Both Main Street and Cry Baby Bridge are located on CR 675 E. Ive Been across the bridge and done the ritual ive heard crying and i seen a woman dressed in black in white dangling her baby from the bridge
Most visitors to the nearby Main Street Graveyard a short distance away claim to hear ferocious, even demonic growling noises. However, the majority of these sounds are probably of a non-supernatural origin, as passing vehicles driving over this very bridge can cause what initially sounds like growling as the sound carries through the trees and into the graveyard. Since traffic is light, the sound is sparse enough to warrant visitors' initial attention.
