Location Description:

Large objects will be thrown if set on ground, orbs, lightning, mist, very cold winds, shrieking, kids laughing, chanting, yelling, screaming all around a bad place to go. People have come back and had large bruises and fang marks on legs, upper arms, wrists and necks. Crucifixes, prayer, holy water only make whatever is there mad. If you go, wear no crosses or anything Christian like. Weekends are the worst time.

I am a sensitive and felt nothing. There are major powerlines in the area which produve an a electro magnectic feild, which can cause sickness, visions, and disiness. The other thing i noticed is that the area is well over grown, so teens that are going there are most likely getting scratches from the ivoy and thorns. I also wore a cross around my neck and tried provoking the spirit, no harm was done to me nor my co—founder. Devils turnaround is nothing more then a urban legend. AnonymousVisiter * US	I would like to than your members/ readers that “Devil’s Turnaround” historic cemetery posted as No Trespassing. I do understand the importance of paranormal research and your dedication to that research but the damages done over years, as well as by vandals, has left permanent damages to this cemetery. It is a shame that we have had to come to this point but since Southern Cemeteries was notified of the cemetery as well as it’s condition we have made this our first priority. We have taken steps, as well as the local police departments and neighbors, to have this piece of property protected when we aren’t present. I would like to notify the members/ readers of your group that since June 21, 2007 there have been a total of 93 citations for Trespassing issued. Out of this 93 there were 17 arrest (3 for repeats), 47 of them were minors, 8 (total of 68) reported as being from a paranormal group. All plates to vehicles and the trespassers themselves are photographed by our patrolling members and prosecutions are being pursued via that evidence. matrix Online Now!	Hey Recently you (or someone acting on your behalf) posted a comment to my site which I am attaching at the bottom of the email. I was wondering if you would consider a compromise? I know how frustrating it can be for vandals to wreck everything, repeatedly. But these vandals are not investigators. A person that explorers haunted places tries to leave the place exactly how they found it, vandals, are simply that... vandals. They don`t care what they wreck, and disregard signs anyway... that is part of the `thrill` for them. Perhaps offer some type of guided tour of the premesis for a fee? Or give limited access to the groups that properly request permision and donate? You could easily collect a decent revenue from this to help pay for the upkeep of the grounds as well as a security guard. If you managed to ticket 93 people, 68 of them being investigators in less than a month. You could easily charge them 30 bux a head to go on a small investigation run, that would EASILY pay for a security guard. I will even offer help you by advertising this on my site, which will nearly garantee a great revenue stream. Tickets wont stop vandals... and it is revenue that you will never see. Offering a donation/tour system will benefit both you, your business, and a small section of our society (those that love to investigate). I agree that the vandals have to be stopped, but those that are investigating urban legends are not the issue and are being punished for the crimes they are not commiting. -Matt

matrix Online Now!	Matt, There is a procedure set in place regarding performing investigations. All someone has to do is contact us and we will start the process. This requires at least, but not limited to, 2 of our group members to be present. Approval by the Board of Southern Cemeteries and the land owner, an interview process must be completed and at least one day (4 hrs) of service at the location with-in the same month of the investigation is required from each investigating team member. Each member must be over the age of 18 and sign a legal binding damage document and confidentiality agreement, these documents are legal and binding. No more than a team of 6 at this location. All names will be checked against past and future citations (applies to days before investigation) and arrests and those who have trespassed prior to the investigation will not be granted access to the location. The permissions are for only one investigation date and between specific times: which is decided by Southern Cemeteries. Restitution will be paid to the land owner for any damages with a clause of it’s application to the location. There is a fee, in the form of cash or money order, of $25 per investigating team member: and these proceeds are applied to the location. We have posted our contact number with the No Trespassing signs on the property. There will be no exceptions made on consent and there will be no exceptions made regarding prosecutions. There is no way for us to know who had done past damages but there is a way for us to start to put a stop to future damages. As of today, June 26, 2007, there will no longer be citations issued. We have officially given access to local authorities to arrest all trespassers. We have already placed security on the site and all trespassers will be photographed, vehicles and license plates and damages will be documented and used for prosecution. I do understand the importance of paranormal investigation and research but the information that has been given to the public from investigators and via the use of the web and by mouth has caused an already degraded cemetery to suffer further damages. Our concern is not the unknown but the condition and the future of these two cemeteries. Our legal department is fully prepared to move forward with such legal issues as trespassing or vandalism. We performed a process of notification during a 30 day period and have had repeated offenses by those notified which has prompted us to take the steps we are taking. I am truly sorry that other’s have halted the ability for “legit” groups but the history on this cemetery is not known to most of those who enter on to the grounds. This cemetery hold a wealth of history for the community and those descended from those buried there. I have included the GA laws regarding this situation. At first the whether was ok to walk around in where you could wear a skirt but while being there for over an 2 hours with that lady and the cops it got so cold to see your breath. Then the lady (Nicole) came out there. She was very rude. She down talked my friends. You could not see signs except talking about a church up ahead and it looks a dirt road to turn around in. You only seen one grave stone and you had to be in there to see it. Dont go to this place not because its haunted but because of the lady that takes care of the place or lack there of.

It is plainly posted as No Trespassing but for those idiots who are illiterate, we have posted very large NO TRESPASSING signs that are more plain to see. As for the Halloween situation,, that`s not how the police report reads. And if you were dumb enough not to take heed of my first warning of NO TRESPASSING as you were walking into the cemetery, when you are warned and then stand like a retard looking at me from the front of your car, then you deverse what you get.. If it was my way you would have gone to jail, but like the police officer said,, you come back you go to jail.... PERIOD!!!!! The reason we have not started preservation is because of IDIOTS like you! We are not spending thousands of donated dollars for kids who have poor upbringing and nothing better to do with their lives distroy hard work... First of all let me clear a few things up for you, I am not a KID, secondly i had never been to the place before nor had I ever heard of it, I was with a group of friends I do not even leave up there in Marietta. And furthermore the police did not get any statements from me because I never got out of the car. The police officers CLEARLY stated that the signs were not posted properly for people to see after dark. If I had things my way people like you would not even be hired to look over the place because it is beyond obvious that you have an anger issue. You talk down to people as if everyone is the same, telling people how they have poor upbringings. It isn`t that at all, curiousity is a natural thing and if people hear word of mouth that a place is haunted naturally they will want to check it out for themselves. As for the vandalizing, I am in agreement that something needs to be done about it, maybe the grass should be cut and the place cleaned up so that it would be easier to catch the culprits. I personally have NEVER vandalized anything in my life because I WAS raised better than that. And believe me if I had seen a sign that said no tresspassing then we would have never stopped. Oh and one other thing who has the time to stay up all night and sit in a cemetery waiting to put people in jail, someone that has a general hate for other people thats who.

AnonymousVisiter A -	I have been here once and i'm gonna have to say it IS haunted. I didn't see anything in person, but we took plenty of pictures and some are very, very clear, and others have hundreds of orbs. I took a picture of my friend walking into the entrance and there is a demons face CLEARLY above his head. In two of the other pictures there is a really thick smoke, that couldn't possibly be fog, in the shape of a person reaching out. So thick that you can barely see what the picture was supposed to be (none of us smoke). We parked our car in some parking lot on the right and walked down to the graveyard, because times before my friend has been and his car wouldn't start when he was ready to leave. It's pretty creepy.

AnonymousVisiter	been here many times. My friends cross necklace was ripped off his neck. as we were getting back in the car. Everyone saw a lil boy coming toward the car. scared the crap out of everyone. as we were trying to hauled bass out of there, there was a big bang on the passanger side door. About a mile down the road we realized that there was a childs hand print in on the passenger side window. witch might have been a coincidence but we had just washed the car earlier that day and no children had been near the car. Print went away after about 30 minutes. Another experience we had on a different trip out there was a phone call my friend recieved as we entered. we started recording it about half way thru. it was a woman speaking what we believe was spanish. She was crying and was not responding to us at all. we tried getting it translated but my spanish speaking friend aka the nieghborhood mexican kid aka el polo loco but he said it was a bunch of mumble that kinda sounded like she was trying to convince someone 2 come back to her and how much she loved him. the word beautiful was thrown around a lot. paranormal? i dunno creepy? yes. p.s. nicole can S my D. place is badass. Its a great place to dig up dead bodies and have your way with them... nicole just wants them all to herself. Thats why she's there all the time. :)

It doesn't matter where its at, who owns it, private or public, it is public right, pay attention to the word RIGHT, to be able to enter. You can arrest all the people you want, its gonna get thrown out of court. You have to provide the public with clearly posted times of visitaion to said graveyard. As long as we're not destroying or being a nuisance, it's fine. Also Nicole, are you aware of the jailtime involved for neglect of a cemetery? If you have collected and I qoute, "The reason we have not started preservation is because of IDIOTS like you! We are not spending thousands of donated dollars for kids who have poor upbringing and nothing better to do with their lives distroy hard work", its fraud. You cannot collect monies toward preservation and not auctually clean it up and maintain it so my suggestion, clean it up post reasonable visiting hours, arrest those who don't follow said visitaion times, stop lerking around a graveyard and get a life. Oh by the way that Georgia law you mentioned.. Where is it? Because its FEDERAL LAW that lands used for burial of the dead weither public or private will remain AS PUBLIC DOMAIN.

(and as long as you arent doing anything stupid the cops dont care) if you are "sensitive" you will meet the Welcome Lady, she trys to give you a guided tour of the cemetary There is also a few men that will occasionally show up to Welcome you... Last time my cousin was there she was warned by the lady "hurry, leave, theyre coming" haha obviously my cousin didnt stick around to find out who "they" were And the last big thing, there is a certain grave up there that if you sit beside it for a few mins it will start vibrating...just some happens this is the grave of the Welcoming Lady... if you want more info about the place email me @ Melonfresh2005@yahoo.com i also know of a few more areas

Is it across from the church itself? There is a short road that has been closed, I'm thinking it must be down that way. I also didn't see any no trespassing signs, so I would think ticketing people would be entrapment.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	This place is located on white circle, you take barrett parkway to cobb parkway (41) and head towards bells ferry, (should be heading north) make a left onto white circle and drive down until you see the little entrance on your left, its easy to miss but theres a headstone marking the entrance, parking is good at the office buildings 30 feet up the road..... visited, nothing special to me, had a bunch of whiny girls with me with big flashlights so it wasnt spooky at all but theres a bunch of dug up graves. theres the location for you guys now. If you do go, be respectful

This place is said to be the home of the witches waterbabies... After she had her children it is said she threw them off this bridge they are said to still be alive. If you drive thru with a candy bar on your hood it is said that it will not be there once you reach the otherside.

Ive caught some strange pictures. Like in one photo a huge orb of light was coming out of the ground towards me. In another there was what looked like lightning shooting from the ground. i also caught a picture of a blurry woman with no face looking from behind a tree. So i do believe this place is haunted. BTW anytime i go investigations, i always get permission from owners or authorities. That way i can investigate and still be within the law. DO NOT TRESPASS!!! That is against my protocols.

AnonymousVisiter NEW JERSEY US	Yup, went there last fall, walked around a bit with a few other friends and my girl. Nothing too strange. I had on my cross necklas I always wear and even jokingly challenged the "spirits" and as figured nothing. As walking out of the place two cop cars come around the corner and flip on their lights and hit us in the face with there spotlights. At this point it was just my girlfriend her friend and me. We got a long lecture about how and I quote "there are homeless people living in these woods who are armed and stay drunk and high on crack and could kill you." yes this guy was being serious. Being that we were all minors (not breaking curfew) he still called both their parents but no citation. Just tried to make us look irresponsible. My issue is this. We were there for no more than 10-15 minutes, caused no damage, didn't even step on a grave. Didn't notice and no trespassing signs, and we're on our way yet it was a legal situation? Makes me furious that my tax dollars pay for a pathetic cop like that that has nothing better to do than lecture us on how it's dangerous out there and how we are nieve and ignorant. In my opinion.... If there's really dangerous homeless people out there... Get off your lazy rear and fix that and don't worry about me. But in conclusion, Very much not haunted, interesting place but nothing paranormal, and you run a huge risk of getting in trouble with good for nothing tax sucking high school drop out cops. (not all cops, but the two I delt with, completely accurate)
