WOW I JUST WENT TO THE 7 CHURCHES.I WAS SCARED BUT IT WAS IN THE DAY TIME. I KNOW THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP THAT NITE. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GO THERE AT NITE AND SEE THE GIRL THAT EVERY ONE IS TALKING ABOUT...
Firstly, this listing came from a site called "Shadowlands.net". I don't know how determined they are about "borrowed" info so, cover your six!
Secondly, the Civil War graves are KNOWN to be of Confederate soldiers. There are two privates who parished during a troop movement from Florida to Virginia that died in the are. There is also a Colonal that died some years after the war and was buried at Stone Gardens as he was a long time resident of the area.
Thirdly, there is an old cemetery down HardUp Road, which dates back to antebellum times. Several graves there are as recent as the 1940's but, there is nothing newer. I will not give directions to this location for the obvious reasons. (Please read on.....)
Fouthly, it is tresspassing to go there. As long as you stay on teh road, you're on public property. As soon as you step off the road, you are on private property that is owned by the Plantation. And, yes, they do prosecute. Unfortunately, over recent years, there has been a drastic increase in the number of "visitors" to the area and not all of them have been curtious to the site. Hence, pretty much anyone will get in trouble for going out there and virtually no one can get permission any more.
Finally, I wish to issue a "Special thanks" to all of those who have screwed up this paranormal hotspot for the rest of us.
Some images from the Stone Gardens. As you can see, it's no different than any of a thousand other cemeteries so, rather than running the risk of going to jail for messing around at Stone Gardens, look into other locations where you CAN get permission to be. Happy hunting!

O.K., so I didn't get the earlier pictures that I promised to show up. Here I am, trying again! LOL!
A couple of photos that I took abck when Stone Gardens wasn't so over run with tresspassers and it was still allowed to visit it. There were obviously taken in the daytime but, I have quite a few from night time investigations as well.
As you can see, it's like most any old graveyard from anywhere else. Nothing to get arrested over.
Shineka, are you with a paranormal investiation group or are you just a curious local? Just wondering. If you're in the area, perhaps you can link up with The P.I.R.G. when they go out that way next time. The Stone Gardens is on private property and tresspassers aren't very welcome but, The P.I.R.G is working on getting permission to go out there soon.
