Comment: Hey ya`ll, I go to school here at Earle C. and I`ve seen some of the hauntings here! And there are so many more than what you guys have listed! South Campus dorms are built over a burial ground and are haunted. The dorm I live in (which used to be a male dorm, but is now female) in West Campus is haunted by three male students who died here, one of which will walk in the lobby late at night and disappear as he heads back to his room on B wing. There is also a male staff member that haunts room B3, he is very angry and closes and locks the door and the windows.

There are also soldiers out in the fields and woods that haunt the place. There are so many stories, if you want to hear more, please email me. I will try to scan a haunted picture of my boyfriend in his room :)

Comment: okay like i live in florida and i want to go Earle C. Job corp center but i wanna no like is it fun and like what surronud it like is there malls stores and stuff and what are the mainly race around there..can some body tell me.

Comment: I went to Earl C back in 94-95 and I knew about the burials, but I never ever saw any ghost...I must be very blessed cause if I would have seen it I probably wouldve left before I succeeded the program. It is a wonderful safe place to go and pursue your goals. The faculty at Earl C. had a great way of making strangers in a new place interact and have fun. It was soooo much fun, and I will never forget those golden moments. Till this day I look for old pictures or just a memory or two to take me back to that time. My very good sister, job corp friend, still contacts me till this day. I left job corp with the best character attributes that anyone could have, and those skills learned are with me today. Go to Job corp at Earl C if you really want an exciting (but structured) enviroment. Only the best comes out of Earl C.; soldiers, ghost or students. The main race? I don't know how to answer that, but I can say that the population on Job Corp reflects the melting pot that AMERICA is made of....figure it out! If race is an issue for you, well you should stay in a cave somewhere far, far, far away....cause America has been mixxxxxxed since the time of the Indian slave....any comments?

Comment: my ex went there and like he said there are so many more things he would tell me about like what TheFaerie said plus something kept trying to push him out the bed. and there's this wing i don't remember what dorm he said but the wing is locked and you can hear girls screaming. when he would use the phone sometimes he had to call me back cause there was a guy talking but not to him it appeared not to hear him. he also said there were monks or shadows in monk robs walking around in many places.

Comment: in 2001 I went to earle c clements. When i was living there I did experience many hauntings and the r/a had to do a spiritual cleaning on my dorm! We would have the lights flash on and off, the lockers shake, we would not be able to sleep because youd feel like someone was on top of you, you could see flashes of light--just to name a few experiences

Comment: I went to ECCJCC back in Nov-1996 thur July-1999 I was in that band and I had alot of fun I can say now that it was one of the best times in my life I meet so many diffrent people even know we didn't keep in touch much after we left job corps but I love it went I was there. It was hard at first but we played around did alot of things we wheren't supposed too and had a ball.

Username: AnonymousVisiter Posted: 10/14/2008
Comment: I went to Earle C.Clements in 1986-1988, it was the most wonderful experience that one could ever have, life is what you make it, and if you are motivated, and ready to lead your life in the right direction, then job corps for you, sadly to say, anywhere you go there are fools, avoid the bad crowds, and you will be fine, get with the crowds, and you will surely get terminated, they have a low tolerance for misbehaving. I went and got a trade and obtain my G.E.D., I am now a succesful realtor, I went to college in Orlando Florida, and receive my degree in human services . The only thing thats really bad is I made so many friends from all over the world, and I would love to hear from them, but i donot know where they are, if anyone know where they are,Lontaya Henderson from Tallahassee, Lateceia Harris from North Carolina, Bishme from Boogie down Bronx, and so many more, thats the only sad part, everything else is thumbs up. The Sky Is The Limit, Teresa

Comment: I whent to earl c. in 2004 , just like the other user .some friends and I got together and did some evps, and digital pictures. The strange results that we got , yall do know that earl c.use to be a old wwII airforce base. It use to old german pows, cause some of our tapes had german dilect. And even the wierd things that happen around the demon tree. demon tree behide the small cafe and the only tree thats stands by its self. by doing this . This is what made me into the paranormal investigator today.

Comment: i am also at earle c i stay in 304. i live in b2 and my roommate went over to b1 to ask about something it was late and she knocked and came in. when she did she was facing one side of the room and talking to a friend when she turned around she seen a dark shadow in her face and flipped out. later on when she went in there they told her it must of been one of the girls coats on the bed post and staged back to the exact spot and the coat was too far away for her to see the shadow so close up to her face.

Username: AnonymousVisiter Posted: 2/7/2009
Comment: one of my roomies felt a body laying next to her once while she was sleep.. that was creepy. other than that, nothing much else, i think. i am currently attending there as well and now all of these reports are creeping me out.but u never know what to believe.

Username: AnonymousVisiter Posted: 2/14/2009
Comment: I work at Earle C. since 2004. I have seen blue flashes of light in buildings in the early morning, heard footsteps at night outside my office in the building, papers rustling - WHEN ABSOLUTLEY no one else was in the building. Also experienced, and as some in the south refer to as, Shadow Demons -shadow like figures which manifest and quickly disolve. Look, I am not crazy, and have heard many stories from other staff concerning this. In my oppinion, the ground is "polluted," in the sense of some major Civil War battles have taken place on these grounds (many horrible deaths-family killing family members due to being right on the verge of the North vs South Border), and being a former military base housing war prisoners, and prepping for military action during WWII (more death and evil), then currently house angrey young folks. Lots of negitive energy on these grounds. The good thing is, I never been too intimidated, you get used to it. There is really something going on out here, I assure you, however, do not discourage yourself from coming to Earle C., this is a great place to "get it together", and become a productive citizen!

Comment: My son goes to Earl C. He very much believes in Jesus. He is also sensitive to the spirit world. If there was anything there he would have said. He has not reported any activity. He is having the time of his life and is on his way to having a great career. It was tough at first but has settled in now. He has made some great friends. Life is good. God Bless you all.

Comment: well i had posted something before about my roommate feeling someone sleeping next to her, and now its like taht same thing has been messing with me and my other roommate!on like 3 or 4 different instances we have felt something either laying on top of us or pushing us aside ,and it usually occurs at night. we found out that all 3 of us used to have family that have special esp abilities and maybe thats why only us can snese this going on. But since we prayed over it in the room nothing has happened since..

Username: AnonymousVisiter Posted: 7/22/2009

I attended during 01-02. used to live in the 900's... it's definitely haunted... the whole place is.. i had some pretty crazy experiences. it's one of the reasons why i'm a paranormal investigator today. we caught german and english evp's as well as some pics with guys in uniform standing next to my friends that weren't there when we snapped em.

Comment: I attened job corp for 3 years... recently completing my trades BOT. There were some freaky shyt that happened to me... Once I was in my bunk in dorm 303 and i opened my eyes and a dog with red glowing eyes was staring right at me I got up and started to run hearing its footsteps. My wing leader came around the corner and demanded to know why i was up... I turned around and nothing was there. I tried explaining that there was something chasing me but he wouldn't believe me. Then they sent me to peer court.. they started taking 5 dollars out of my check every two weeks. I really suggest not going to dorm 303... i saw the eyes 4 more times after that i just tried to ignore it.

Comment: I attended Earle C from 2001-2003, during that time i never witnessed any ghosts, & we would walk the campus at night. The only thing to be scared about at Earle C, when we went at least, were the wars between the different states, & cultures. I did have a good time at Earle C, its like a world inside of the world. I would not recommend it for teenagers, even though they are the primary target.

Comment: I went to ECCJCC in July 1997. Yes, we had a blast as well. All in who you know. Heard the stories but never seen a one... The Green Grass Motel, the snack cake hoes, 400's, etc... For all in the 400's do anybody know if the RA Ms Johnston(404), Ms Grimes(405), a male RA light skin(coach)(404) in guys dorm... Are they still there? Ms Johnston the sweetest lady ever. Can anybody tell me who the top judge is now? The fights were always fun to watch. The war in the 500's where many didn't stay after that. I could go on and on about my time there. One love to all my OT brother's and sister's! 405 C5: C. DeeDee W., Val Jackson, LL, Lakisha, Renee(C-town), me T Denise K(POLO)..... Thank GOD for the classroom for bad student's! After I finished my trade I was able to leave from the dead class of Printing(teacher's was no good). Hit me up if you was there around July 97 to May 98

Hi everyone. My name is Keri-Ann and I went to ECCJCC satellite center from 1992 to 1994. I loved it, I made a lot of memories and met some really awesome people. It wasn't always easy but the rewards were great. I remember a girl in the dorm screaming in the middle of the night that someone was trying to choke her. She was actually taken to the hospital because she was absolutely hysterical.....I remember people seeing 2 children playing in the field behind the girls dorm that were reported to be ghosts. I myself never saw anything but find it hard to believe that so many people through the years have been seeing the same things if there is not some truth  to it. I am very grateful to have not seen it!!!!!!! Any way if you were there in 92-94 and would like to get in touch with me my email address is

Comment: I went to Earle C. Clements Satalite in Greenville, Ky. My name is Brian Ward but everyone knew me as SUG..... I used to play ball and was the captain of the JV bball team also captain of the varsity team in '97. We had great records two years straight but would always get beat by the main center of Earle C. in Morganfield. The dorm I lived in was 405 better known as "J-HALL" and was dorm president for my last year there. There were three other guys there I played ball with, Levi from Fl., Big Country from GA, and Johnny Blaze from N.C. I married a girl from there named Tameka Cooper from Florida and we had 2005 a daughter name Kambriale. Tameka died in 2010 from prostate cancer and she is missed dearly. So if anyone know me or any people said here in this article, hit me up a

Comment: I went to Earle C back in 83 to 84 this is when they were just beginning to tear down the old dorms and make everything brick. The only brick dorms was the grad building. I was there for about a year n 8 months. We used to run the trail back then and have a connect pick us up (those from that time know what I mean) back then it was state gangs. I was born n raised in Jersey but I lived in Florida and went to school there. I rode that grey dog from Fla to Earle C so I had a big squad behind me.....getting to the point about ghosts. Back then we saw no ghosts, the only ghosts we saw were white sheets. Every so often the KKK would put their sheets on and sneak onto the back of the center and just line up in a long line. They would stand there for awhile and then leave before security showed up. Thats the only ghosts I knew about back then. I have a lot of photos from back then, before I got into other things I had a hustle going taking pictures for people to send home to their family. They should have a website where people can post pics and reunite with the job corp fam. If anybody know of one post it for me..

Comment: I'm the one who made the post I forgot to leave my contact info... if you went to job corp in the early 80's I was know as LL I was in D block i think lol so long ago. I had a hustle goin in the dorm as well sellin snak cakes, nutty bars and cigarettes lol a world inside of a world. Anyway this fat light skinned dude named Hill was our RA he always parked his monte carlo in front of the building. I used to buy up everybody clothing allotments lol Like I said, back then they were just putting up brick dorms which we used as motels at night...anybody who was there know what I'm talkin about...grab ya blankets!! lol before then it was jus blankets and green grass. Back then NY and Fla was always goin at it, which always left me in the middle since I was from both places and had loyalty from both sides. When I say NY back then it included New Jersey, Philadelphia, Virgin Islands, Jamaicans, Maryland and Africans. My immediate dudes that was with me at all times was Boone the boxer (Tampa Fla) Jerome (Queens NY) Black (East Orange NJ) Youngblood (New Orleans) Waleek (Newark NJ) Brian Gator (Miami Fla) D Nice (Jersey City NJ) and Rasheed (Jersey City NJ) EL (Hoboken NJ) EK (Jersey City NJ) Gee (Jersey City NJ) Quentin (Newark NJ) those was all my brothers from another mother. Most of them I hooked up with after Job Corp lol thats another story in itself.

i attending Earle C. Clements in 94 95 and i witnessed some ghostly activity. one night i was asleep in my dorm and i heard this loud crash like a one of the big doors slamming. i awoke and found the door was slammed only there was noone near the door. seconds after that the curtain swings like someone was using it only noone was at the window. i wasnt hurt or anything but thats to close to a spirit or ghosts power for me.

Comment: i just completed Computer Service Technology at Earle C. i arrived on march 1, 2011 and left December 13, 2011. EVERYTHING ive seen here about paranormal stuff is true. ive felt it.... i didnt beleive at first but after hanging out with my friends one night that all changed. i never drank or did any drugs there. idk what nonbeleivers say its real. i heard things all the time. i seen things out the corner of my eye. and ive heard several reports from people i trust that some of the dorms have hauntings. my room mate was extremely sensative to paranormal activity/energy and he always was freaking out over things he claimed to see and he always seemed to see a little boy in 402 on d wing. the things he did was weird and there r "families" there that dedicate their whole time to "protecting" thats place. ive gotten sharp pains before in my arm and leg and later my chest. it happened after some strange events. Most people there know me by Best Buy. my name is James Porter and anyone wanting to ask me about it here is my email.

i was there in 95.  no ghosts.. period.  most of the time (ladies) when u feel someone touching u and u hear doors slamming.  it was usually because some guy was in there f*ckin with you in your sleep.  the slamming doors were usually the guys hauling a$$ because the RA caught them.

no kids out behind the girls dorms playing at night.  most likely it was green grass motel action.

my name was Dirty and I ran that biotch.

Comment: I went to Earl C Clements back in late late 99 early 2000 to Feb of 01 and the RA's always used to tell us stories but we were young and skeptical so one incident was that a whole bunch of us gathered up from different dorms mostly the 300's, 400's and 500's and went to the old unused barracks in the back of the cornfields we were all together quiet and we herd door slamming and it sounded like someone was shutting a window and the glass shattered, all of us ran, i distinctly remember my OT brother grabbing an OT sister and pulling her behind him to get ahead, she fell and we all bolted and left her. When we got back to the dorms we were talking and she walked up to us crying we all asked what happened thinking it was because she fell, she said she herd more than one male voice screaming order's and it sounded like a group of people running, long story short we never went to the old barracks again, other than that I knew of students dying there but no haunting's in the occupied dorm's. For those who still attend ECC is the blue bird still up, do they still DJ, and is the raido station still active, my best experience there other than graduating from the Auto Body Tech Course and getting my ASE certification was when new OT'S came on the bus, we all got fresh and went to the OT dorms to scout the young ladies ahhhhhhhhhhh those were the days.......

Comment: I went to Earle C. Clements in 1988/1989. I enjoyed meeting different people. That was the best part about it for me. However, it was not at all like I was told it would be. Upon arrival, I felt like a prisoner coming on to prison grounds, riding the bus around campus, having my property searched, then given an army type duffel bag w/a blanket, sheet & pillow in it. There were riots, not just race against race, but cities against cities. It was crazy. I did obtain my G.E.D., and for that I am very proud & thankful. I am also thankful that I got to meet so many different people. People from Jamaica, Virgin Islands, Chicago, California, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, New York, Tennessee, Hawaii, even one guy from New Mexico. I loved that . There was a lot of drinking, which I did participate in. There was also a lot of marijuana going around. But I personally didn't see any hard drugs. We had a lot of good times at what we called the square, and at the snack kitchen. One snow storm, several guys kept knocking me down in the snow, I'd get up & they'd knock me back down, one of my o.t. brothers finally came & helped me get to my dorm, and luckily I wasn't injured, just embarrassed. I'm sure things have changed a lot, or atleast I hope so. But overall, I'm glad I experienced it. It took me away from my comfort zone & what I knew and how I lived normally. I learned a lot about how other people live in this world, and although we all live differently, we all still have things in common and can unite together, become friends and have fun.
